 A·nat·i·fa n.; pl. Anatifæ   Zool. An animal of the barnacle tribe, of the genus Lepas, having a fleshy stem or peduncle; a goose barnacle. See Cirripedia.
 Note:The term Anatifæ, in the plural, is often used for the whole group of pedunculated cirripeds.
