  Phy·lac·to·læ·ma Phy·lac·to·læ·ma·ta n. pl.  Zool. An order of fresh-water Bryozoa in which the tentacles are arranged on a horseshoe-shaped lophophore, and the mouth is covered by an epistome.  Called also {Lophopoda}, and hippocrepians.
