1. Drowsy; inclined to, or overcome by, sleep.

2. Tending to induce sleep; soporiferous; somniferous; as, a sleepy drink or potion.
3. Dull; lazy; heavy; sluggish.

4. Characterized by an absence of watchfulness; as, sleepy security.
