Ware·house v. t. [imp. & p. p. Warehoused p. pr. & vb. n. Warehousing.]
1. To deposit or secure in a warehouse.
2. To place in the warehouse of the government or customhouse stores, to be kept until duties are paid.

Ware·hous·ing n. The act of placing goods in a warehouse, or in a customhouse store.
Warehousing system, an arrangement for lodging imported articles in the customhouse stores, without payment of duties until they are taken out for home consumption. If reexported, they are not charged with a duty. See Bonded warehouse, under Bonded, a.
